There are many different ideas about meditation and techniques. Yet, meditation isn’t about ideas or techniques. Meditation is awakening to what already is. It is being aware of yourself as the inseparable flow of the energy of Existence! Meditation techniques exist to help us remember this great truth and to help us tap into our true nature. Because there are many different types of people across the planet, there are hundreds of techniques to help you where you are on your particular path. Some techniques may not land with you, but when they do, play with it, experiment with it, make a practice of it. You’ll be surprised at the insights and the peace that come along with your practice!

So, meditation is simply to BE. To sit, breathe, and recognize your nature, not as a separate entity lost in a foreign world, but as the ocean of being itself, waving in countless forms. Sit with me, and remember who you really are! You are Existence itself, the ocean of being, cosmic energy, the Tao, Brahman, Source, God…you’re it, whatever you want to call it, or perhaps simply the absolute Silence.
