What does this mean?
Just be means simply to trust. To let go and to trust. When you come to the realization, the awakening, that you are not a separate being, a separate entity, and that you are synonymous, one and the same, as the entire, singular ISness, existence itself… Then, letting go and trusting happens all on its own.
In actuality, “you” cannot let go. “You” cannot trust. Who is letting go of what? Who is trusting what or whom? Nonsensical questions. “You” do not exist. It is an illusion.
Merging with the whole, there is no “you” to let go. Realization of being one and the same as the whole is at the same time met with letting go, with trusting.
I tell you to let go, to trust. But, what I am telling you is to awaken to your true self, identity, nature, which is the whole of existence.
When this happens, you find yourself in a state of let go. You find yourself in the meditative state, which is not the act of meditating. It is the state of being aware of yourself as the single movement, the constant movement, of existence. Of the flow of the energy of the whole.
Nothing is seen or experienced as separate. Nothing is seen as a stand alone thing or event. In this state existence simply is. Existence is moving in the movements of your body and mind, and all that happens whether “inside” or “out”. Work, play, speaking, silence, walking, running, laughing, crying, joy, and anger, it is the movement of the whole.
This is you.
The worries, anxieties, and fears are all illusions created in sleep. Waking up, they are seen as they really are, the energy of existence moving this way and that. Nothing right, nothing wrong; it simply is, just being.
It is less the wave waking up to its really being the ocean, and more of the ocean inside the form of the wave waking up and realizing that it was dreaming that it was separate from the whole, separate from itself. Believing itself to be a separate wave and forgetting that it was the ocean all along moving in waves.
Wake up. Let go. Trust. Just be.
